Director of Operations - (Part-time)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Director of Operations in a part-time, benefited role with a flexible schedule of approximately 20 hours per week. The Director of Operations serves as a key leader within the organization and acts as the primary liaison to the Board of Directors. This position is responsible for directing program operations, providing financial administration, collaborating with community partners, and supervising staff. Interested candidates can submit a cover letter and resume to: bod@safespacecac.org Qualifications •Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of five years experience in social service or related field, plus two years administrative experience. •Proficiency in program service delivery, community organization and coordination regarding child abuse issues. •Knowledge of the dynamics of child abuse. •Knowledge of a nonprofit Board of Directors’ organizational structure and dynamics. •Knowledge of agency administration and personnel. •Knowledge of nonprofit budget and finance. •Knowledge of Quickbooks accounting and payroll is helpful. •Knowledge of fundraising and public relations. •Proficiency in budget development and management; personnel management; development and implementation of programs and policies. •Ability to prepare and interpret statistical data. •Knowledge of pertinent laws and regulations regarding child abuse. •Ability to communicate in a compassionate, unbiased, trauma informed manner. •Provide culturally sensitive support to patients and families during the evaluation. •Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with staff, board of directors, community agencies, and the public and clients. •The ability to work flexible hours and to sometimes be on-call for emergency situations after hours and on weekends. •Pass a criminal background check. •References are required. •Knowledge and ability to adhere to HIPAA standards for patient confidentiality, professional code of conduct and ethical standards.

Mental Health Provider

The Mental health Provider position will provide comprehensive, compassionate, evidence-based trauma-focused mental health services to children and families in a culturally and developmentally appropriate manner; Foster resilience, promote healing, and enhance overall health of our clients to address their unique needs with the goal of maximizing individual and family functioning. as well as participate in and/or lead group sessions. Openings include part-time and full-time benefited positions, as well as flexible contracted positions. About Us: SafeSpace Children's Advocacy Center is a front-line responder to reports of child sexual and physical abuse, witnessing violence, and other serious maltreatment of children in the Columbia River Gorge region. All our services are aimed at reducing and addressing trauma so children and families may begin their healing process. SafeSpace services are free of charge to every client. We are an interdisciplinary nonprofit organization coordinating efforts of child protection staff, law enforcement professionals, family advocates, medical experts, and mental health clinicians under one roof. Our staff facilitate interagency partners’ collaborative responses, conduct forensic interviews and medical assessments, provide child and family advocacy and crisis intervention services, and are now offering in-house integrated youth mental health and substance use disorder services. Forensic Interviewer - (Part-time)

The Forensic Interviewer is a member of the clinical team. Core responsibilities of the position include conducting developmentally and culturally sensitive interviews of children and adolescents referred for assessment. Assessments can include concerns of sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, and domestic violence. Candidates must be able to: -Perform crisis intervention and work with families in crisis -Effectively communicate verbally and in writing -Provide support to medical providers -Represent the organization in a professional manner to clients and our community -Complete required documentation and have strong computer skills -Maintain confidentiality following HIPAA and other legal requirements -Participate in continuing education -Be culturally sensitive Qualification: -Bachelor's degree preferred but not required or equivalent experience -Think strategically, creatively problem solve, exercise good judgment -Proven ability to work in a team and build working partnerships -Excellent interpersonal skills -Maintain regular attendance at work and work activities, punctual in meeting deadlines, attending meetings, and following schedules -Ability to work flexible hours Please send your cover letter and resume to mrivera@safespacecac.org
